Adobe Spark Page
Pictures go together well with words. That's why authors put graphics in their stories. And, that's why they put detailed designs on their book-covers.
A story's pictures tend to stand apart from the words, though. A book will hold hundred of pages of words and maybe ten pictures. Also, some books don't show the pictures when their depicted subject happen in the story. Instead, the pictures show up together on some dedicated picture-pages in the center. This way, the pictures do more harm than help; they block the story's flow; they mess up the reader's momentum.
What if words and pictures could work together as one? What if words and pictures shared time and space in a story? It would created a synergy that would move readers in a new, powerful way. You can do this with Adobe Spark Page.
Adobe Spark Page lets you tell a story on the web with words, pictures and videos. You can use all of the above to make a work of art on a single webpage. The reader scrolls the page from top to bottom as she reads. She sees pictures next to the words and watches as the background changes.
How can kids use Spark Page in a WITS class? They can make travel-journals; they can give tours of their houses; they can tell stories in a new, visual way. WIth Adobe Spark Page, not even their imaginations limit them!
Adobe Spark Page projects move in real-time; they come with animations and sounds. So, a screenshot does not serve as a good example of what it can do. Instead, check out some working Adobe Pages below:
